Stay With Your Dog
What's up with dogs?  Ever notice how they lean into a perfect yoga stretch after their naps?  Have you ever thought that they may be onto something?  If yes, you are right.  It’s practically impossible to read a yoga article or watch a DVD that does not feature Downward Facing Dog.  Downward facing dog creates flexibility and strengthens the legs, hips, back, shoulders, and neck.  It will help neutralize your spine by bringing it to its natural alignment, which is a key factor for economy of motion and efficiency in sports.

Fitness Other: Questions?  A Look Into a Trip Worlds Apart
I recently traveled to Jerusalem and witnessed the first marathon in that ancient city.  It was my first trip to the Middle East and it left me full of questions.  Chief among them was this: "What are you doing in Israel?" The stated purpose of my trip was to cover sports - to see what Israel offers the outdoor athlete and to report on the marathon.  But that never felt like a sufficient answer.
