Great Bear Chase Ski Marathon Brings Top Skiers to Calumet
Skiers from all over the Midwest came to Calumet and the Swedetown Trails for the Great Bear Chase Ski Marathon.  Events included Freestyle and Classic races at three different distances, and some dominating performances.

The Last Great Race Ends in Nome
The 41st annual Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race came to a close in Nome, Alaska late on the night of March 12. In the fourth closest race in Iditarod history, one musher came away with his second championship, becoming the oldest musher to claim first place.
